My 2008 New York Arab American Comedy Festival Adventure, Part 1: Road to the festival.

The 2008 New York Arab American Comedy Festival was yet another high point in my 11 year stand up comedy career. This came almost six years after I first performed in New York in 2002 with Dean Obeidallah (organizer of the festival). This show was called the Arab American Comedy Tour.

Dayton, Ohio home of the baby microwaving mom, the murdered Marine Maria Lauterbach and people who hate Muslims!

What the hell is going on in Dayton, Ohio? 2007 ended with the trial of China Arnold, a woman who microwaved her baby.  2008 started with a missing pregnant Marine, Maria Lauterbach, originally from Dayton, who was murdered, burned and buried in the back yard of a house.

And this is why I don’t bet on sports….

Ok….so OSU lost yesterday.  I’ll admit it…. If we won I would’ve posted a blog bragging.  The reality of the matter is LSU was the best team yesterday and I won’t make any excuses.  Now I have to back up my big mouth and go buy an LSU shirt and take a picture wearing it.  [...]
